Calibration Engineer – Emission Aftertreatment

About the role

Stellantis is seeking a Calibration Engineer specialized in emission after‑treatment to join its Calibration Department. The role focuses on designing, validating, and evaluating exhaust after‑treatment systems for engine projects, working closely with calibration teams to ensure compliance and optimal performance.

Key responsibilities

• Define and evaluate exhaust after‑treatment system architecture.
• Support and conduct bench validation tests for engine prototypes.
• Perform advanced test data analysis and assess emission compliance.
• Coordinate with calibration teams to converge on final engine configurations.
• Prepare detailed validation reports and technical summaries.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in Automotive, Mechanical, Powertrain, or Energy Engineering.
• Experience with after‑treatment systems, emissions control, or calibration development is valued.
• Strong analytical mindset and problem‑solving abilities.
• Effective communication skills in a technical environment.

Required skills

• DPF (Diesel Particulate Filter) knowledge.
• SCR (Selective Catalytic Reduction) knowledge.
• Understanding of catalysts used in exhaust systems.
• Engine bench testing and validation experience.
• Advanced data analysis and processing capabilities.
