Landscape Architect

About the role

The Landscape Architect will review and supervise the implementation of landscape architecture works for a terminal building and its surrounding development areas. This role ensures that all landscape elements meet design intent, environmental standards, and aesthetic goals while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams.

Key responsibilities

• Review and supervise landscape architecture works associated with the terminal building and surrounding development areas.
• Assess landscape master plans, planting schemes, irrigation layouts, hardscape elements, site furnishings, and outdoor amenities.
• Ensure compliance with approved designs, project specifications, environmental requirements, and aesthetic objectives.
• Coordinate landscape works with civil, architectural, MEP, utility, and drainage infrastructure components.
• Review contractor submissions, shop drawings, material samples, planting schedules, and method statements.
• Monitor quality of landscape construction, horticultural works, irrigation systems, paving, street furniture, and site development works.
• Select appropriate plant species considering local climate, maintenance, sustainability, and visual appeal.
• Oversee water‑conservation measures, soil preparation, erosion control, and environmental enhancement initiatives.
• Conduct site inspections to verify compliance with approved designs and quality standards.
• Assist in resolving technical issues related to landscape implementation and maintenance.
• Prepare progress, inspection, and quality observation reports and recommend corrective actions.
• Support testing, commissioning, and handover of landscape and irrigation systems.

Required profile

• Proven experience reviewing and supervising landscape architecture projects.
• Strong knowledge of planting schemes, irrigation design, hardscape elements, and site furnishings.
• Ability to ensure compliance with design specifications, environmental standards, and aesthetic goals.
• Experience coordinating landscape work with civil, architectural, MEP, utility, and drainage teams.
• Competence in reviewing contractor submissions, shop drawings, and method statements.
• Capability to monitor construction quality and implement water‑conservation and erosion‑control measures.
