Software Engineer (MAUI Mobile Developer)

About the role

As a Software Engineer specializing in .NET MAUI mobile development at Forterro, you will design, build and optimise cross‑platform applications for iOS and Android. You will work closely with product, UX and QA teams to deliver high‑quality software that supports the company’s strategic objectives.

Key responsibilities

• Convert requirements into well‑structured software solutions for desktop and mobile platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define technical specifications and design appropriate solutions.
• Write efficient, maintainable C# code, perform unit testing, debugging and troubleshooting.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and system architecture.
• Work with product managers, UX designers and QA to ensure software meets requirements.
• Stay updated with technology trends and propose enhancements to the development lifecycle.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field.
• Proven track record of delivering high‑quality software solutions in a fast‑paced environment.
• Strong written and spoken English communication skills.

Required skills

• .NET MAUI framework with C# for cross‑platform mobile apps.
• Experience building iOS and Android applications, including use of platform‑specific APIs (sensors, camera).
• Consuming RESTful APIs.
• Object‑oriented programming, SOLID principles and design patterns.
• Knowledge of .NET 8 and later.
• Source control with Git.
