Accounting Technician Internship – 6 months (Oct–Mar)

About the role

An audit and accounting firm in Casablanca seeks accounting technician interns for a six‑month period (October 1st – March 31st). The timeframe follows the fiscal year cycle, allowing interns to experience inventory work in December, year‑end closing, and the preparation of the tax package up to submission.

Key responsibilities

• Perform data entry on real client files
• Conduct ledger and bank reconciliations
• Prepare tax declarations and VAT filings
• Assist with inventory work and balance‑sheet closing tasks
• Use Sage accounting software in a production environment

Required profile

• Ongoing or completed accounting technician training
• Knowledge of chart of accounts, common entries and VAT
• Proficiency in Excel beyond basic formulas
• Strict adherence to tax‑deadline schedules
• Availability for the full six‑month period, including the fiscal closing phase

Required skills
