Advanced Quality Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an Advanced Quality Coordinator to lead quality activities for new automotive projects within Lear’s Moroccan operations. The role supervises a team of Advanced Quality Engineers, ensures compliance with customer and Lear standards, and drives continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise the Advanced Quality Engineers team.
• Lead Advanced Quality activities for new projects, including APQP deliverables.
• Control and validate Quality APQP deliverables in Profile/LearPro.
• Develop, update and validate control plans.
• Manage Schedule‑A/eAPQP submissions to customers.
• Prepare and maintain the list of special characteristic supplements (K/SCSS).
• Monitor customer scorecards and resolve prototype/pre‑serial production claims.
• Analyse internal defects for prototypes and support engineering change implementation.
• Prepare internal deviation reports to ensure compliance with customer requirements and Lear procedures.
• Conduct self‑assessments for manufacturing site assessments and new RFQs.
• Promote problem‑solving, remove roadblocks and encourage team‑driven solutions.
• Participate in continuous improvement of the Quality Management System.

Required profile

• Bac+5 (or equivalent) with at least 5 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Proven experience with German OEMs.
• Strong team‑management abilities.
• Ability to work in a high‑tempo environment and collaborate across the organization.

Required skills

• Knowledge of IATF 16949 quality management standards.
• Proficiency with APQP, PFMEA, PPAP and Control Plan tools.
• Experience using problem‑solving methods such as Ishikawa, 8D, 5 Why and Pareto analysis.
