Application Lab Technician

About the role

Givaudan is seeking an Application Lab Technician to support its Creative Fragrances Development team in Morocco. You will prepare fragrance applications in various bases, ensuring quality, speed, and accuracy while collaborating closely with the technical and laboratory teams.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare fragrance applications for consumer products according to project requirements.
• Assist with material administration, laboratory organization, and sample request handling.
• Perform colour matching and recommend dyes based on client specifications.
• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and maintain accurate documentation of results.
• Support basic formulation development and preparation of internal bases.
• Maintain a clean, orderly laboratory environment in line with EH&S guidelines.
• Manage inventory of fragrance oils, customer bases, and internal bases.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, or a related discipline.
• 2‑3 years of experience in fragrance applications, compounding, or a related laboratory setting.
• Strong interest in fragrances; olfactory skills are a plus.
• Fluent in English, French, and Arabic (oral and written).
• Proficiency with common PC applications.
