Associate Professor of Mathematics – Integrated Preparatory Cycle

About the role

The College of Chemical Sciences & Engineering (CCSE) at Mohammed VI Polytechnic University seeks an Associate Professor of Mathematics to teach the Integrated Preparatory Cycle. The role focuses on delivering high‑quality instruction in mathematics for first‑ and second‑year students.

Key responsibilities

• Teach analysis, algebra, linear algebra, series and numerical analysis through lectures, tutorials and computer‑based sessions.
• Provide up to 200 hours of annual teaching service, including lectures, tutorials, laboratory sessions, assessment design, invigilation and marking.
• Prepare, invigilate and grade examinations and continuous assessments, contributing to assessment standards.
• Offer academic tutoring, individual follow‑up, remedial support and guidance to preparatory‑cycle students.
• Participate in structuring course content, semester sequencing (semesters 1‑4), pedagogical committees and examination boards.

Required profile

• Qualified to hold an Associate Professor position in Mathematics.
• Experience teaching undergraduate mathematics courses, preferably in a preparatory or engineering context.
• Commitment to a teaching‑focused role with optional research affiliation.
