CAD Designer – Interior Plastic Parts

About the role

We are looking for a CAD Designer to develop interior plastic components for automotive applications. You will work within a multidisciplinary team to turn engineering concepts into manufacturable parts using CATIA V5.

Key responsibilities

• Develop engineering concepts for interior plastic parts.
• Create 3D CAD models and technical drawings with CATIA V5.
• Ensure manufacturability, geometric integration, serviceability and compliance with standards.
• Coordinate with packaging, simulation, manufacturing, supplier and project teams.
• Perform design studies and evaluate alternative concepts.
• Support design reviews and technical discussions with customers and stakeholders.
• Manage changes and continuously improve component designs during development phases.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering or a related field.
• First professional experience in designing plastic interior components, preferably in the automotive industry.
• Good communication skills in English.
