Chef de Projet Senior – Mobilité Urbaine et Plans de Circulation

About the role

The client, a large semi‑state institution in Rabat, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead urban mobility and traffic‑plan initiatives in a strategic city zone. The role reports functionally to the central structure and works closely with multiple public stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Design and engineer a global mobility plan and detailed local traffic plans, coordinating with local authorities, national transport agencies, infrastructure managers and law‑enforcement.
• Facilitate and chair local thematic mobility committees, ensuring timely information flow to senior management.
• Supervise the deployment of local transport infrastructure and related urban amenities, identify compliance or delay risks, and implement contingency measures.

Required profile

• Master’s level degree (Bac+5) in transport engineering, civil engineering, urban planning or territorial development.
• 8‑10 years of experience in transport engineering, urban mobility or large‑scale event logistics.
• Proven track record managing multi‑project programmes within the Moroccan institutional context or large public/cultural gatherings.
• Fluent professional Arabic, French and English.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of multimodal transport systems.
• Proficiency with project‑management tools.
• Ability to develop complex traffic plans and master‑plan schematics.
• Strong risk‑management and contingency‑planning capabilities.
