About the role

The Head of Financial Engineering and Funding will lead the design and implementation of financing strategies that match the company’s investment needs. Reporting to senior management, the role combines innovative financial engineering with rigorous project financing oversight.

Key responsibilities

• Design and pilot financing strategies aligned with corporate objectives.
• Develop innovative and optimized financial engineering solutions.
• Structure the financial aspects of investment projects and ensure alignment with budget constraints.
• Identify short‑, medium‑ and long‑term financing needs.
• Propose and negotiate financing structures such as loans, partnerships, and structured finance deals.
• Negotiate with banks, funders, and national or international institutions.
• Assess financial risks and recommend appropriate hedging mechanisms.
• Prepare financial studies, decision notes, and analytical reports.
• Maintain continuous financial and regulatory monitoring.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Finance, Accounting, Audit, Control, Economics or a comparable field from a recognized institution.
• Specialization in public finance, financial engineering or debt management is a plus.
• 3‑5 years of experience in finance, financial management or debt handling.
• Experience in the public sector or with financial institutions is strongly desired.
• Strong analytical, synthesis and strategic decision‑making abilities.
• Rigorous, organized and able to meet deadlines.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.

• Knowledge of debt management, public finance and capital markets.
• Proficiency with financial analysis and reporting tools.
