About the role

We are seeking an experienced Team Leader / Construction Manager to oversee the installation of catenary and contact line systems for a long‑term railway infrastructure project in the Rhine‑Main and Saxony regions of Germany. The role involves managing a crew on‑site, ensuring safety compliance, and delivering high‑quality work in a modern rail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of 6‑12 technicians in the assembly and installation of catenary and overhead contact lines.
• Plan daily work schedules, coordinate material deliveries, and monitor progress against project timelines.
• Ensure compliance with railway safety procedures, night‑work regulations, and track‑closure windows.
• Maintain documentation, report on site performance, and enforce adherence to technical specifications.
• Collaborate with project engineers and client representatives to resolve technical issues.

Required profile

• Several years of experience in catenary, contact line or aerial line construction.
• Proven experience supervising on‑site teams in a railway or infrastructure setting.
• Technical or manual training such as electrician, electronics, mechatronics, industrial mechanic or boilermaker.
• Strong organizational skills, responsibility for safety, and ability to enforce work instructions.
• Valid driving licence category B (C or CE preferred) and a good level of German; additional language skills are a plus.
