Compliance Manager – Aviation

About the role

Swissport is looking for a seasoned Compliance Manager to ensure that all operations meet national and international aviation regulations, safety standards, and internal policies. You will be the key driver of regulatory adherence and a champion of a culture of integrity across the organization.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and maintain a comprehensive compliance program.
• Ensure compliance with IATA, ICAO, EASA and local authority regulations (e.g., ONDA, CAA, DGAC).
• Oversee internal and external audits, including regulatory, customer and ISO audits.
• Collaborate with the Global QHSE team to align policies with ISO requirements and stay updated on standards.
• Create and update compliance policies, procedures and manuals.
• Deliver training and awareness sessions for operational and support teams.
• Identify, assess and mitigate compliance risks, recommending corrective actions.
• Monitor implementation of audit action plans and report status to senior management.
• Serve as the primary liaison with authorities, customers and partners on compliance matters.
• Supervise investigations of incidents or potential violations and prepare monthly compliance reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Law, Aviation, Quality/Safety Management or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience in compliance, preferably within the aviation industry.
• Fluent communication skills in English and French.
• Strong leadership, integrity and a problem‑solving mindset.
