Contract Manager

About the role

Bank of Africa is seeking a Contract Manager to oversee the full lifecycle of its supplier and service contracts. The role works closely with the Procurement, Legal, and Compliance departments to ensure contracts are well‑drafted, negotiated, and executed in line with the bank’s standards.

Key responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate and secure contracts with suppliers and service providers.
• Analyze legal and contractual risks and propose appropriate clauses.
• Monitor contract execution, including milestones, amendments, renewals and compliance.
• Ensure contracts meet regulatory requirements and internal policies.
• Maintain the contract repository and standard contract templates.
• Support business units in formalising their contractual needs.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (Bac+5) in Business Law, Legal Studies, Procurement or Contract Management.
• At least 4 years of experience in contract drafting, negotiation and monitoring.
• Experience in legal and compliance environments is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, negotiation skills and ability to work cross‑functionally.
