Cyber Security Engineer (Staff/Lead Level)

About the role

A2MAC1 is looking for a seasoned Cyber Security Engineer at Staff/Lead level to join its Information Security & Compliance team in Casablanca. You will provide technical leadership across security architecture, cloud security, detection engineering, and platform protection for a global SaaS, cloud, and AI‑driven automotive data platform.

Key responsibilities

• Define and maintain security architectures, standards, and engineering guardrails across cloud, endpoint, identity, DevSecOps, data and AI environments.
• Lead security engineering initiatives, translating strategy into scalable technical solutions.
• Drive detection engineering and automation to improve incident response and platform resilience.
• Collaborate with the SOC to turn detections and incidents into long‑term engineering improvements.
• Design and implement security controls across software development and cloud platforms.
• Lead threat modeling, risk reduction, and secure‑by‑design initiatives.
• Define security metrics, KPIs, and telemetry to measure platform security and reliability.
• Support audit readiness and continuous compliance with security frameworks and industry standards.

Required profile

• 8+ years of experience in cybersecurity, security engineering, cloud security, or application security.
• Strong background in security architecture and modern security engineering practices.
• Proven ability to design and implement security controls across cloud and software platforms.
