Data Engineering Manager

About the role

Artefact is seeking a Data Engineering Manager to lead large‑scale data and AI transformation programmes in Casablanca. You will combine technical expertise, people leadership and client engagement to design and deliver modern, cloud‑native data platforms.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the design and delivery of cloud data platforms, defining scalable architectures and ensuring code quality, security and performance.
• Mentor, coach and grow a team of Data Engineers, overseeing recruitment, onboarding and career development.
• Act as a trusted advisor for clients, translating business challenges into technical solutions and leading workshops and architecture discussions.
• Promote engineering best practices, reusable frameworks and stay at the forefront of Cloud, Data Engineering and AI technologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience leading Data Engineering teams and delivering complex transformation projects.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, able to present technical topics to business audiences.
