About the role

The Department Operations Manager will lead the operational organization of Bertrandt Morocco, ensuring the company scales efficiently while maintaining high performance and quality standards. This senior role combines strategic planning, team leadership, and cross‑functional coordination across multiple projects and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Define and deploy an operational structure aligned with company growth.
• Implement management processes, including rituals, reporting, and performance indicators.
• Develop internal skills, support upskilling, and foster a strong performance‑driven culture.
• Oversee disciplinary management of managers and teams.
• Drive optimal resource allocation, control capacity utilisation, and minimise bench time.
• Anticipate skill requirements, coordinate recruitment with HR, and manage a detailed skills matrix.
• Promote internal mobility and team versatility across projects.
• Implement operational budget control and productivity monitoring.
• Contribute to business development by identifying new project opportunities and supporting quotation processes.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of experience in automotive engineering or engineering services.
• Proven track record managing multidisciplinary teams of 100+ people.
• Experience in international, multi‑site, high‑growth environments.
• Fluent in English and French.
