Development Engineer for Vehicle Dynamics Models with Matlab/Simulink

About the role

We are seeking a Development Engineer specialized in vehicle dynamics modelling using MATLAB/Simulink. The role involves creating and maintaining real‑time simulation models for complete vehicles and supporting hardware‑in‑the‑loop (HIL) testing within the automotive electronics domain.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and validate vehicle dynamics models in MATLAB/Simulink for real‑time execution.
• Set up and maintain HIL test systems, including dSPACE and Vector CANoe platforms.
• Integrate and configure automotive bus communication (CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet) within test environments.
• Analyse simulation results, document findings, and track defects through resolution.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams throughout concept, implementation and acceptance phases.

Required profile

• Degree in Electrical Engineering, Information Technology or a related discipline.
• Strong interest and knowledge of the automotive sector.
• Motivation to work in a fast‑paced development environment.

Required skills

• MATLAB and Simulink for model‑based development.
• Experience with dSPACE hardware and Vector CANoe tools.
• Understanding of automotive bus systems: CAN, LIN, FlexRay, Automotive Ethernet.
