About the role

The Deputy General Manager / Director of Operations & Performance will act as the operational right‑hand of the President, driving daily execution and improving commercial, operational and financial performance of a leading women’s fashion retailer with over 80 stores across seven countries.

Key responsibilities

• Pilot the day‑to‑day execution of the business and continuously raise its performance level.
• Manage the profit & loss statement, ensuring financial targets are met.
• Challenge and coach teams, fostering a culture of accountability and results.
• Translate diagnostic analyses into concrete decisions and measurable outcomes.
• Strengthen the company’s operational autonomy from its founder.

Required profile

• 10‑15 years of experience in retail, distribution, FMCG or a highly operational B2C environment.
• Proven track record of managing complex operations and P&L responsibility.
• Leadership experience in large groups, preferably within FMCG, retail or distribution.
• International exposure or experience abroad is a strong plus.
• Hands‑on “operator” mindset with the ability to drive rapid transformation.
