FEM Simulation Engineer – Interior

About the role
We are looking for a FEM Simulation Engineer specialized in interior components to join our engineering services team. You will support the development of cockpit and seat structures by creating and analysing crash and durability models.
Key responsibilities
- Set up load‑case specific finite‑element models using ANSA, LS‑DYNA, PAM‑CRASH, Animator and proprietary tools.
- Run crash simulations, interpret results and validate calculations for interior parts.
- Document findings, prepare reports and present results to customers, project managers and cross‑functional teams.
- Develop optimisation proposals in collaboration with colleagues.
- Support the entire development lifecycle from concept through series production.
Required profile
- Technical or scientific degree in automotive, mechanical, mechatronics, aerospace engineering or a related field.
- Proven experience in simulation and development of cockpit or seating systems.
- Strong analytical mindset, structured and independent way of working.
- Business‑level English communication skills.
