Field Service Lead

About the role

As the Field Service Lead at Harmattan AI, you will head the team responsible for keeping complex defence‑grade electromechanical and electronic systems operational across multiple customer sites. You own the maintenance programme, ensure readiness of the deployed estate, and act as the senior escalation point for faults that exceed first‑level resolution.

Key responsibilities

• Lead, schedule and mentor a group of Field Service Specialists across various locations.
• Own and execute preventive and corrective maintenance programmes for the deployed fleet.
• Define, maintain and continuously improve maintenance standards, procedures and checklists.
• Serve as senior escalation point for complex fault diagnosis and oversee depot‑level and sub‑assembly repairs.
• Manage spare‑parts inventory, sustainment models, consumption tracking and obsolescence handling.
• Track system availability, report readiness status and proactively resolve issues.
• Enable customer maintenance teams through knowledge transfer and support.
• Bridge field maintenance with engineering to address recurring or systemic problems.

Required profile

• Extensive hands‑on maintenance experience with complex electromechanical and/or electronic systems.
• Proven leadership of field service or maintenance teams; leadership is a mandatory requirement.
• Deep diagnostic expertise capable of leading complex fault investigations and supervising component‑level repairs.
• Strong understanding of spare‑parts management, reliability data analysis and sustainment processes.
