Fraud Analyst

About the role

Wyllo is a risk intelligence platform that helps ecommerce merchants protect their businesses from fraud and policy abuse. As an Associate Fraud Analyst you will review flagged orders and customer service cases in real time, helping to distinguish legitimate shoppers from fraudulent activity.

Key responsibilities

• Review and act on orders in the review queue, scaling up to a full daily volume within three months.
• Support merchant and customer calls during scheduled phone shifts.
• Identify and escalate emerging or unusual fraud patterns.
• Learn and apply analyst processes documented in Confluence.
• Attend live team meetings and trainings, or review recordings when unavailable.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to spot patterns in large data sets.
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication.
• Solid research and problem‑solving skills under time pressure.
• Quick learner who can retain detailed processes and apply training consistently.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment while meeting team goals.
• Adaptable to shifting priorities and capable of navigating multiple systems.
• High integrity when handling sensitive customer and transaction data.
• Prior experience in fraud, research, financial services, or a related analytical field is preferred.

Required skills

• Proficiency with G Suite (Gmail, Docs, Sheets).
• Familiarity with Metabase (a plus).
