HIL Engineer for Body/Brain

About the role

ALTEN Delivery Center Morocco is seeking a skilled HIL Engineer to develop, configure, and maintain Hardware‑in‑the‑Loop (HIL) environments for Body/Brain ECUs. You will work closely with Stellantis cross‑functional teams to ensure accurate simulation and testing of automotive electronic systems.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, configure, and maintain HIL setups for Brain ECUs, including I/O channel configuration and rest‑of‑bus (SoftECU) simulation.
• Create and model I/O simulations and subsystem HIL simulators.
• Design and verify HIL scenarios for anomaly reproduction and troubleshooting.
• Provide technical and methodological support to Stellantis teams.

Required profile

• Master’s degree (BAC+5) in Embedded Systems, Electrical/Electronics, or Mechatronics Engineering.
• Proven experience in HIL engineering for automotive applications.
• Strong team‑oriented mindset and good written and spoken English.
• Optional knowledge of vehicle body features.

Required skills

• HIL environment development and maintenance.
• MATLAB/Simulink (dSPACE toolchain is a plus).
• Automotive communication protocols: CAN, CAN FD, LIN, Automotive Ethernet.
• SoftECU and I/O simulation modeling.
• Component and subsystem HIL simulator configuration.
