Housekeeping Supervisor

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor ensures that all guest rooms, public areas and back‑of‑house spaces meet the highest standards of cleanliness and presentation. Working closely with room attendants, you will lead daily operations, maintain VIP service standards, and support a motivated housekeeping team.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily cleaning tasks and verify that room attendants follow the correct sequence.
• Prepare VIP rooms with amenities, extra beds, flower arrangements and special touches before guest arrival.
• Conduct daily inspections of guest rooms, corridors, stores and employee grooming.
• Provide on‑the‑job training, coaching and performance feedback to room attendants.
• Maintain equipment, manage linen inventory and ensure proper trolley placement.
• Report irregularities, lost‑and‑found items, and any security concerns to housekeeping management and security.
• Oversee shift handovers, attendance, punctuality and courteous behavior.
• Collaborate with housekeeping leadership during daily briefings.

Required profile

• College degree in Hospitality or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a supervisory housekeeping role.
• Fluent in English, Arabic and French.
• Strong attention to detail and aesthetic sense for hotel environments.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to attract and develop talent and adapt to a changing business environment.
