Industrial Performance Specialist

About the role

COFICAB is seeking an Industrial Performance Specialist to drive continuous improvement across production and quality functions. The role supports the plant’s objectives by analysing performance data, leading root‑cause investigations and contributing to new product industrialisation.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse production and quality results (TRO, scrap rate, run time), identify gaps and develop corrective action plans in collaboration with quality and production teams.
• Lead continuous‑improvement and product industrialisation projects, updating technical specifications, work instructions, PFMEA and related documentation.
• Validate process parameters, perform calibrations (debit tests, extrusion screw, barrel verification) and support equipment validation or upgrades.
• Prepare and communicate industrial KPI dashboards and propose systematic improvement programmes to meet departmental and corporate targets.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in an industrial or technical field.
• 1‑3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in wire or automotive components.
• Proficiency in French and English.

Required skills

• Knowledge of ISO quality standards and system regulations.
• Familiarity with wire manufacturing processes and associated technologies.
• Use of quality tools such as Statistical Process Control, PFMEA and APQP.
• Application of process‑improvement and continuous‑improvement techniques.
• Project management and risk‑management capabilities.
• Inventory management and analytical problem‑solving skills.
