IT & Automation Intern – AI Services & Workflow Automation

About the role

Join EXTRA Media’s AI & Automation team as an intern and help build production‑grade AI services and workflow automations. You will work closely with a software lead in Germany, using cutting‑edge LLMs and automation platforms to create real‑world solutions for the group.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain task‑oriented AI agents with memory and tool use.
• Create and optimise n8n and Zapier workflows, handling webhooks, retries, error monitoring and logging.
• Implement vector‑database pipelines (ingestion, embeddings, indexing, retrieval) using pgvector, Chroma, Pinecone or Weaviate.
• Contribute to AI‑driven calling agents, integrating speech‑to‑text, text‑to‑speech and CRM updates.
• Write Python utilities for orchestration, testing and integration.
• Collaborate via GitHub, participate in code reviews, and produce clear documentation and unit tests.

Required profile

• Enrolled in Computer Science or a related degree program.
• First‑hand experience with Python and/or automation tools such as n8n or Zapier.
• Strong curiosity about large language models, prompting and AI safety.
• Basic understanding of HTTP/REST, Git and JSON.
• Ability to work independently and deliver structured results.
• Fluent English; French or Arabic (Darija) a plus.
