Junior Accountant

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Junior Accountant to join our Finance team in a fast‑growing, international environment. The role is ideal for a candidate with roughly one year of accounting experience who wants to deepen their technical skills and contribute to daily financial operations.

Key responsibilities

• Process and record supplier and customer invoices, employee expenses, and other accounting entries.
• Perform accounts payable and accounts receivable reconciliations.
• Assist with bank reconciliations, cash‑management activities, and month‑end/ year‑end closing.
• Maintain accurate accounting records and supporting documentation.
• Prepare and review financial reports and accounting schedules.
• Support collection activities and follow up on outstanding receivables.
• Assist with VAT declarations and other tax‑related filings.
• Provide documentation for internal and external audits and ensure compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
• Participate in finance process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Approximately one year of professional experience in accounting, finance, or bookkeeping.
• Basic understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting.
• Fluent French (written and spoken) and good professional proficiency in English.

Required skills

• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP systems or other accounting software (advantageous).
