Junior Data Engineer – Casablanca

About the role

Artefact is a data service provider that helps organisations turn data into business impact. To support its rapid growth, Artefact is looking for a Junior Data Engineer to join its engineering team in Casablanca.

Key responsibilities

• Innovate with consultants, data scientists and engineers to identify client needs and define innovative solutions.
• Build end‑to‑end data solutions, managing conception, implementation, performance and scalability.
• Train and coach team members, share knowledge and stay up‑to‑date with industry developments.
• Communicate findings at events and conferences, presenting technical results to business audiences.

Required profile

• Experience across the full data value chain, including infrastructure, platform creation, data collection, machine‑learning model deployment, REST API development, test‑driven development, CI/CD and risk anticipation.
• Background in software engineering with DevOps / DevSecOps exposure.
• Ability to set up and deploy ML models created by data scientists.
• Strong English communication skills and ability to explain technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders.
