Maintenance Technician

About the role

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the reliability and performance of all plant equipment. This includes performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrotechnical, mechanical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and automated systems, as well as programmable logic controllers (PLC), robots and manipulators.

Key responsibilities

• Execute preventive maintenance tasks according to standard procedures, ranging from simple checks to comprehensive equipment overhauls.
• Diagnose and resolve equipment breakdowns, starting with supervised interventions and progressing to autonomous repairs across all technical domains.
• Analyze failure causes, propose improvements, and implement modifications to increase reliability, capacity and maintainability.
• Participate in 5S workplace organization and Quick Response Quality Control (QRQC) activities.
• Contribute to daily and monthly maintenance meetings, improvement workshops and the commissioning of new assets.
• Lead improvement projects, coordinate with subcontractors, and develop documentation and training for assembly, disassembly or adjustment procedures.

Required profile

• Technical background in electrotechnical, mechanical, pneumatic or hydraulic systems.
• Ability to work under supervision for simple tasks and independently for more complex interventions.
• Strong analytical mindset to identify root causes of failures and suggest enhancements.
• Experience in leading maintenance improvement initiatives and collaborating with external partners.
