Network & Security Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Network & Security Engineer to design, implement and maintain our IT and telecom infrastructure. The role ensures reliable operation of network equipment, monitors performance, and provides support to internal and external customers.

Key responsibilities

• Schedule and implement operational and production processes for IT resources.
• Install, integrate and configure network hardware (Cisco, Fortinet, Palo Alto, F5, Gigamon) and logical resources.
• Monitor network performance, diagnose incidents, and apply corrective measures following SLA guidelines.
• Plan and execute maintenance activities, including OS and firmware updates (IOS, FortiOS).
• Provide tier‑2 assistance, handle tickets, and follow up on requests.
• Support project implementation and supervise equipment supervision logs.
• Maintain documentation and update network inventories.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or Master’s in IT, Network, Telecommunications or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in network and security engineering.
• Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNP (or higher) and Fortinet NSE4/5/7.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Cisco IOS, routing, switching and firewalling.
• Fortinet FortiOS, FortiGate, FMG, FAZ, FAC.
• Palo Alto, F5, Gigamon equipment.
• Layer‑2 protocols: VTP, STP, EtherChannel.
• Dynamic routing: BGP, OSPF, EIGRP.
• SD‑WAN, VPN, VPLS, MPLS, HA networking concepts.
• Monitoring tools such as Solarwinds.
• Telephony platforms: Asterisk, AVAYA, SBC.
