Operations Coordinator – Airline Disruption Management

About the role

We are looking for an Operations Coordinator to join Tairs Worldwide’s international operations team. In this role you will manage real‑time airline disruption operations, ensuring passengers receive swift assistance across our global network.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate hotel accommodation and ground transportation for passengers affected by flight disruptions.
• Manage IROP operations from the airline request through to completion.
• Communicate directly with airlines, hotels, transport providers and local partners.
• Secure hotel inventory on short notice, often during high‑demand periods.
• Monitor passenger allocation, room availability and transportation requirements.
• Provide continuous operational updates to airline customers.
• Handle multiple simultaneous operations across different airports and time zones.
• Resolve unexpected operational issues with fast, practical solutions.
• Maintain accurate records for reporting and billing.
• Support continuous improvement of operational processes and supplier network.

Required profile

• Strong organisational and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and make quick decisions.
• Excellent communication skills with high attention to detail.
• Capacity to manage several tasks and conversations simultaneously.
• Comfortable in a fast‑paced, international environment.
• Fluent in English and Spanish.
• Flexible schedule availability to meet operational demands.
• Previous experience in airlines, airports, ground handling, travel, hospitality or operational coordination is highly valued.
