Operations Manager for Outbound Sales

About the role

We are seeking a hands‑on Operations Manager to lead our Outbound Sales team within TELUS Small Medium Business (SMB). In this role you will own both the customer experience and the sales outcome, coaching specialists to turn every call into a revenue opportunity.

Key responsibilities

• Lead a team of Outbound Sales Managers, owning productivity, sales targets and coaching.
• Drive pipeline health by creating, qualifying and advancing opportunities through the sales funnel.
• Ensure consistent execution of the end‑to‑end outbound sales journey, from campaign launch to first‑bill review.
• Provide regular 1:1s, call coaching and real‑time feedback to improve conversion and rep capability.
• Use lead and lag KPIs (connect rates, conversion, talk time, productivity) to identify trends and take data‑driven action.
• Identify and develop top talent, building a bench of future sales leaders.
• Translate TELUS product, campaign and sales strategy into clear direction for the team.
• Partner with Canadian Sales, Workforce Operations, Enablement, Quality, Analytics and other functions to remove barriers and improve the customer journey.

• Able to translate SMB sales strategies into strong frontline execution.
• Strong communication skills and a data‑driven mindset.
• Experience partnering across functions to solve operational challenges.
