Production Associate

About the role

JTI is looking for a dedicated Production Associate to provide operational and administrative support to the Production Department in Tetouan, Morocco. You will act as a liaison between production teams, external service providers, and internal stakeholders to ensure smooth daily operations.

Key responsibilities

• Support purchasing activities, create and follow‑up purchase requisitions (PRs).
• Prepare production documentation such as SOPs and OPLs, consolidate information and coordinate administrative tasks.
• Manage outsourced manpower requirements, track attendance and align resources with production needs.
• Assist with site‑wide production requirements, including auxiliary equipment and production assets.
• Coordinate audits, inspections and visits, preparing information, scheduling and following up on actions.
• Comply with legal, environmental, health, safety and quality standards, report incidents and participate in required training.

Required profile

• 1–3 years of experience in production support, process analysis, manufacturing administration or a similar factory‑support role.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in logistics or customs‑related fields.
• Proficiency in the local language; English preferred for reporting and system usage; French is an asset.

Required skills

• Operational knowledge of MS Office (PC knowledge).
• Understanding of purchasing and PR creation processes.
• Familiarity with production processes and manufacturing KPIs.
• Experience coordinating outsourced manpower and service providers.
• Ability to organize audits, inspections and site visits.
• Basic awareness of IWS and Daily Management System.
• Operational understanding of EHS and quality compliance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder coordination abilities.
