QA Tester – Manual & Automated Testing

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented QA Tester who will ensure our software applications meet functional, usability, performance and quality standards before release. The role involves both manual and automated testing, collaborating with developers, product managers and designers to deliver high‑quality products.

Key responsibilities

• Execute manual and automated test cases to verify software functionality and quality.
• Review requirements, specifications and user stories to create appropriate test scenarios.
• Create and maintain test cases, scripts and testing documentation.
• Identify, document, reproduce and track software bugs using bug‑tracking tools.
• Perform functional, regression, integration, usability and exploratory testing, including cross‑browser, cross‑platform and device testing when required.
• Validate bug fixes and ensure issues are resolved before release.
• Collaborate with development and product teams to resolve defects and support user acceptance testing.
• Communicate testing status, risks and quality concerns to stakeholders.
• Identify opportunities to improve testing processes, tools and QA practices.

• Strong attention to detail and analytical thinking.
• Excellent problem‑solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organizational and time‑management skills to handle multiple testing activities.

Required skills

• Experience with bug‑tracking and test‑management tools such as Jira, TestRail or Azure DevOps.
• Basic knowledge of APIs, databases, SQL and web technologies.
• Familiarity with software development lifecycles and QA processes.
