Quality PTM – Lighting Activity

About the role

Valeo is looking for a Quality PTM to support its Lighting Activity. You will be responsible for defining and executing the quality strategy for automotive projects, ensuring compliance with customer and internal standards from concept to serial production.

Key responsibilities

• Define the Quality Roadmap, manage quality costs and monitor customer milestones.
• Detect and prevent risks throughout the product lifecycle and escalate issues to management.
• Enforce Build‑In Quality standards, manage SPPC tracking sheets and transfer specifications to suppliers.
• Integrate new product and process features into DFMEA/PFMEA and apply Lessons Learned to reduce RPN.
• Control the 4M matrix after design freeze, obtain customer approval for changes and keep quality documents up‑to‑date.
• Challenge project team members, participate in design reviews with suppliers and toolmakers.
• Support Purchasing and SQA with internal/external supplier parts and promote best practices.
• Define prototype, pre‑serial and serial control plans aligned with SPPC and FMEA.
• Prepare Initial Sample files for validation, lead QRQC application and manage issue lists.

Required profile

• Bac+5 or equivalent in industrial, mechanical or electrical engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in the automotive industry.
• Strong motivation to learn, take initiative and work collaboratively.
• Good command of English.
