SC Physical Flow Analyst

About the role

The Physical Flow Analyst supports the design, implementation and continuous improvement of both internal and external material flows within a manufacturing environment. The role focuses on accelerating physical flows, optimizing logistics processes and ensuring alignment with quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze internal material flows and scheduling to identify acceleration opportunities.
• Design, develop and improve tools, equipment, packaging and flow organization for assigned areas.
• Provide technical support for plant projects such as layout changes, new projects and value‑stream analyses.
• Troubleshoot flow disruptions and implement solutions to maintain production continuity.
• Monitor, debug and refine new methods and procedures while supporting the Quality System and Valeo Production System (VPS).
• Analyze external flows, inventory and transportation processes; propose and implement visual reorder or pull‑flow systems.
• Negotiate with carrier companies, develop logistics protocols with suppliers and track transportation cost indicators.
• Communicate precise information to carriers, manage crisis situations and ensure backup coverage.

Required profile

• Experience in supply‑chain or logistics environments with a focus on material flow analysis.
• Strong analytical mindset and ability to design process improvements within budget constraints.
• Proven capability to work with cross‑functional teams on plant layout, value‑stream mapping and cost‑reduction projects.
• Effective communication skills for coordinating with carriers, internal teams and management.
