Segment Leader – Automotive Production

About the role

The Segment Leader will oversee a production segment within an automotive manufacturing environment. This role ensures that production targets are met on time while maintaining high quality and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and follow‑up on key performance indicators (KPIs) to guarantee on‑time delivery.
• Plan and adjust production schedules and resources according to demand and capacity.
• Coordinate with maintenance, quality, and other departments to resolve material, equipment, or workforce shortages.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to optimise processes and enhance product quality.
• Analyse quality issues deeply and implement corrective actions.
• Motivate and support the team during peak periods and ensure a safe working environment.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree (BAC+5) or equivalent in industrial engineering or a related field.
• At least 4 years of experience in automotive production or quality production.
• Proven leadership and team‑management abilities.
• Strong communication skills for clear reporting and cross‑functional interaction.
• Experience in capacity planning and production process optimisation.
