Senior Data Scientist – Tech Lead

About the role

RED TIC is seeking a Senior Data Scientist to lead AI and Machine Learning initiatives. In this senior position you will design, develop, and optimise advanced models while ensuring they meet high performance and reliability standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain AI/ML models, including Generative AI solutions.
• Perform data processing, cleansing, and quality verification as part of data engineering tasks.
• Implement data curation, labeling, and classification pipelines.
• Apply NLP techniques to categorize textual inputs of varying complexity.
• Conduct rigorous testing and validation to improve model accuracy and efficiency.
• Stay current with AI/ML advancements and integrate innovative methods.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Participate in the full project lifecycle from conception to deployment and maintenance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, AI, Machine Learning, Data Science, or a related field.
• Minimum two years of experience developing machine‑learning algorithms and data‑science solutions.
• Strong knowledge of large language models and NLP techniques.
• Proficiency in SQL and solid programming skills in Python, Java, or C++.
• Excellent problem‑solving abilities and capacity to work independently on complex projects.
• Effective communication and collaboration experience within cross‑functional teams.
