Senior Développeur Back-End

About the role

This full‑time, on‑site position is based at the client’s offices on Boulevard Abdelmoumen in Casablanca. The role focuses on designing, developing and maintaining robust, scalable and secure back‑end applications and services.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse business requirements and contribute to technical solution design.
• Design and develop high‑quality back‑end applications using Java and the Spring ecosystem.
• Build, document and maintain RESTful APIs and both synchronous and asynchronous services.
• Implement micro‑service architectures and event‑driven solutions, including Kafka streams.
• Integrate with relational databases using best‑practice ORM techniques (JPA/Hibernate).
• Write unit, integration and regression tests to ensure code quality.
• Participate in code reviews, continuous improvement and DevSecOps practices.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes and production support.

Required profile

• Engineering degree or equivalent (Bac+5) in Computer Science.
• Minimum 5‑6 years of professional back‑end development experience.
• Strong expertise in Java and Spring Boot, Spring Security, Spring Data, Spring Batch.
• Proven experience with REST API design, JSON data exchange, and SQL/PLSQL.
• Hands‑on experience with Kafka (mandatory) and familiarity with RabbitMQ.
• Knowledge of micro‑services, event‑driven architecture and containerisation (Docker).
• Comfortable with Git version control, CI/CD tools and Agile (Scrum/Kanban) environments.
