Senior Investment Analyst – Project Development Fund

About the role

The Senior Investment Analyst will support Africa50’s transport and ICT pipeline by conducting financial modelling, transaction analysis, due diligence and execution workstreams.

Key responsibilities

• Own complex project‑finance models, scenario analysis and investment‑structuring assessments.
• Screen opportunities and evaluate commercial, financial, contractual and risk aspects.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary diligence and support negotiations with public authorities, sponsors, contractors, lenders and investors.
• Prepare investment‑committee materials, briefing notes and transaction documentation.
• Monitor approved projects and portfolio companies, tracking financial and operational performance.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in infrastructure project development, project finance, investment banking, private equity, DFI, IPP/developer or transaction advisory.
• Bachelor’s degree from a recognised university, business school or engineering school; MBA or MSc is a plus.
• Experience in Africa or emerging markets is valued.
• Professional proficiency in English; French is an advantage.
