Senior Public Relations & Advertising Specialist (EU MENA Projects)

About the role

NTU International seeks a Senior Public Relations and Advertising Specialist to support DG MENA’s communication outreach on EU policies across the Middle East, North Africa and the Gulf. The role is short‑term, on‑demand and will span the 36‑month project implementation period.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement public relations and media‑outreach strategies.
• Plan, negotiate and manage media buying and advertising campaigns across traditional and digital channels.
• Build and maintain relationships with media organisations, journalists and communication partners.
• Prepare and disseminate press materials, media kits and promotional content.
• Coordinate PR campaigns to maximise visibility and impact of EU initiatives and events.
• Monitor media coverage and campaign performance, producing analytical reports and recommendations.
• Advise on communication opportunities, reputation management and audience‑engagement strategies.
• Collaborate with communication teams, creative agencies and external service providers to ensure consistent campaign delivery.

Required profile

• Degree (or equivalent) in public relations, communication or marketing.
• Fluent English.
• Minimum 5 years of general PR/advertising experience.
• At least 3 years of specific experience negotiating media buys and managing PR campaigns.
• Experience with EU institutions is an asset.
