Senior QA Automation Engineer

About the role

Yakeey, a fast-growing PropTech company based in Casablanca, Morocco, is looking for an experienced QA Engineer with strong expertise in test automation and AI/ML testing. You will drive the quality assurance of its software products, focusing on automating tests and ensuring the reliability, performance and fairness of AI-driven features, working closely with developers, data scientists and product teams in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts for web, API, mobile and AI/ML components.
• Create test plans, strategies and cases covering functional, regression, integration, performance and end-to-end testing, and run specialised AI/ML testing (data validation, model accuracy, bias detection, drift monitoring, adversarial testing).
• Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab CI, GitHub Actions) and use AI-driven tools such as AI-assisted test generation and intelligent test orchestration.
• Identify, document and track defects, collaborate with developers to resolve them and perform root cause analysis.
• Promote QA best practices and stay up to date with QA automation, AI testing and quality engineering trends.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or a related field, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years of professional experience in software quality assurance focused on test automation.
• Proven experience testing AI/ML systems (model validation, data pipeline testing, generative AI outputs).
• ISTQB certification (Foundation or Advanced) or equivalent is a strong plus.

Required skills

• Programming in Python, Java, JavaScript or similar for automated tests.
• Automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, Appium, Robot Framework and pytest.
• CI/CD tools, Git and issue tracking (Jira, Azure DevOps).
• Preferred: cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), Docker, Kubernetes, performance testing tools (JMeter, Locust), API testing (Postman, REST Assured), AI-powered testing tools (Testim, Mabl, Applitools) and data quality tools (Great Expectations, dbt).

The recruitment process starts with a conversation with the HR team, followed by a test or practical case study, a role-specific interview with the future manager and a final meeting with top management if needed. An offer is sent once everything is approved, and onboarding is handled by the HR team.
