Software QA Analyst

About the role

We are looking for a detail‑oriented Software QA Analyst to ensure our applications meet functional, technical and business requirements. The role involves designing test scenarios, executing manual and automated tests, and communicating defects clearly to the development team.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business requirements, user stories and technical specifications to define testing needs.
• Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, test scenarios and related documentation.
• Execute functional, regression, integration, system, usability and exploratory testing, both manually and with automation tools.
• Identify, reproduce, document and track software defects; provide detailed information for resolution.
• Retest resolved issues and perform regression testing to confirm no new defects are introduced.
• Validate software functionality against business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, business analysts and other stakeholders throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Perform cross‑browser, cross‑platform and device testing as required.
• Maintain accurate records of test results, defects, test coverage and QA activities.
• Support user acceptance testing and production validation when needed.

Required profile

• Previous experience in software quality assurance, testing or a similar role.
• Strong analytical, critical‑thinking and problem‑solving abilities.
• Ability to translate technical and business requirements into effective testing strategies.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good organizational and time‑management capabilities, with the ability to handle multiple testing activities and deadlines.

Required skills

• Knowledge of software QA and testing methodologies.
• Familiarity with test management and bug tracking tools.
• Understanding of functional, regression, integration, system and exploratory testing.
• Experience with web applications, APIs and databases; basic SQL knowledge.
• Awareness of automated testing concepts and tools.
