Space Knowledge & Communications Expert (Non-Key Expert)

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Non-Key Expert – Space Knowledge & Communications Expert to support knowledge management, editorial production, communication and visibility, digital knowledge platforms, and the dissemination of policy and technical content related to the Africa‑EU space partnership.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and curate knowledge assets for the Africa‑EU space partnership.
• Produce editorial and communication materials, including case studies and policy briefs.
• Enhance visibility of programme outcomes through targeted communication strategies.
• Develop and maintain digital knowledge platforms for stakeholder access.
• Disseminate technical content to diverse audiences, ensuring EU‑compliant visibility.

Required profile

• University degree (minimum three‑year program) in communication, journalism, knowledge management, information science or a related field.
• Excellent command of English; working knowledge of French and/or Portuguese is an asset.
• At least three years of professional experience in communication, editorial production, knowledge management or digital content.
• Minimum one year of experience producing knowledge or communication products for donor‑funded or institutional programmes, including policy and technical content.
• Experience with space or science‑technology‑innovation (STI) programmes is an asset.
