Staff Accountant – MA (Full‑time)

About the role

We are looking for a highly organized and detail‑oriented Staff Accountant to support daily accounting operations and ensure accurate financial records. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams to manage the general ledger, reconciliations, and reporting activities.

Key responsibilities

• Record and review daily financial transactions and journal entries.
• Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and supporting documentation.
• Perform bank, credit‑card, and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with accounts payable and accounts receivable processes, including invoice preparation and payment processing.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end closing activities.
• Prepare account analyses, reconciliations, and financial schedules for management reports.
• Research and resolve discrepancies in accounts and financial records.
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis as needed.
• Provide documentation for internal and external audits.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Staff Accountant or in a similar accounting role.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles, general ledger maintenance, and financial reporting.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with internal teams.
