System Team Leader – Brake & Prevent Motion (EPB, Hill Holder, Auto Hold, TPMS)

About the role

The System Team Leader (STL) will steer the technical development of brake‑related and motion‑prevention functions such as EPB, Hill Holder, Auto Hold and TPMS. Working within the VDYN and P&FDI teams, the STL collaborates with functional safety, cybersecurity and international groups to ensure system requirements are met.

Key responsibilities

• Align system requirements with vehicle functions, functional safety (ISO 26262) and cybersecurity (ISO/SAE 21434) constraints.
• Validate sequence diagrams (SD) and timing‑performance (TNP) for critical scenarios like EPB and Auto Hold.
• Publish VFAdd‑on and performance tables on docInfo (SFX) and manage traceability through BBB reviews.
• Support the evolution of the STLA Brain architecture for decoupled HW/SW and OTA readiness.
• Coordinate structured reviews with sites in India, USA and Brazil to reduce inconsistencies.
• Train local teams on best practices, including Newton and docInfo usage.

Required profile

• Master’s degree in Embedded Systems, Automotive Electronics or a related engineering field.
• At least 5 years of automotive system engineering experience, preferably in braking or ADAS functions.
• Proven experience in cross‑functional project management and international collaboration.
• Strong knowledge of functional safety standards (ISO 26262) and automotive cybersecurity (ISO/SAE 21434).

• Timing and performance analysis (TNP) between ECUs.
• Visio (UML/SD), Newton, docInfo (SFX), Excel, PowerPoint, Word.
• Service‑oriented and cloud‑integrated architecture concepts (STLA Brain).
• Document control and change management (BBB reviews).
