Orange Business, a leading digital integrator, invites applications for the position of Data Engineer – Ingestion Administrator located in Salé Al Jadida, Morocco. The role is a permanent, full‑time position (CDI) within the Enterprise Data Hub (EDH), a secure data lake that consolidates and protects Orange’s data assets across the globe.

Key responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain ingestion pipelines that bring data from a variety of internal and external sources into the EDH.
• Perform data cleansing, enrichment, and transformation to meet quality standards and business requirements.
• Monitor and troubleshoot ingestion processes, handling incidents and anomalies to ensure minimal downtime.
• Manage access controls and permissions to guarantee data ingestion complies with security and privacy policies.
• Collaborate closely with data owners and business stakeholders to map data sources, define ingestion schedules, and validate data availability.
• Maintain and evolve existing data sources, adapting to new business needs and technical advancements.
• Develop ingestion interfaces using Agile methodologies and Orange’s FAST tools, ensuring scalability and maintainability.
• Coordinate with the Product Owner to translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Conduct UAT testing and validation with data source teams to confirm ingestion accuracy.
• Deploy production releases following CAB guidelines and coordinate with the run team.
• Provide Level‑3 support when required, ensuring rapid resolution of critical issues.

Required skills and experience:

• Strong knowledge of the Hadoop ecosystem, including NiFi, HDFS, YARN, Hive, Oozie, and Kafka.
• Hands‑on experience with Spark Scala for data processing.
• Proficiency in Linux command‑line operations, scripting, and troubleshooting.
• Understanding of Kubernetes for container orchestration in distributed environments.
• Solid grasp of API concepts, storage systems, and SQL.
• Experience with data lifecycle management, ingestion, enrichment, and cataloguing.
• Familiarity with Agile development practices and continuous delivery.
• Good written and spoken English; French is a plus.
• Prior experience in data management within an Agile environment.
