Network Account Manager – Rare Disease

About the role

The Network Account Manager for Rare Disease will drive access and growth of Pfizer’s rare disease portfolio across key accounts. You will act as the primary liaison between customers, internal functions and Pfizer, ensuring the portfolio’s market uptake and addressing customer needs proactively.

Key responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strategic relationships with current and emerging customers, identifying and prioritising key, core and foundation accounts.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders (supply, tender, policy, etc.) to secure portfolio growth and address market barriers.
  • Maintain up‑to‑date maps of decision‑makers and decision‑making processes for each account, updating quarterly.
  • Track product consumption, stock levels and competitive pricing, producing monthly and quarterly reports for stakeholders.
  • Lead product enlisting activities for innovative assets, ensuring timely purchase orders and inventory management.
  • Record performance against the Annual Customer Partnership Plan and report impact on a quarterly basis.

Required profile

  • Proven experience in key account management within the pharmaceutical or healthcare sector.
  • Strong analytical ability to identify root causes and propose actionable solutions.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
  • Ability to work autonomously and coordinate cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

  • Experience with account‑segmentation and prioritisation methodologies.
  • Familiarity with portfolio management tools and reporting dashboards.
  • Knowledge of public institution procurement processes in the healthcare sector.
