Cypher, a leading tech‑driven accounting and CFO services provider, is expanding its operations in the US, UK, and Canada and is looking for an AI & Automation Engineer to join its Casablanca team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, building, and deploying AI solutions that streamline finance, accounting, and internal operations. This includes developing large language models (LLMs), autonomous agents, machine‑learning pipelines, and rule‑based systems that can interpret financial data, automate reconciliations, and generate actionable insights for CFOs and CEOs.

The role requires deep expertise in AI/ML, proficiency in Python and/or JavaScript, and strong SQL skills for data extraction and transformation. Candidates should have hands‑on experience with workflow orchestration tools, custom automation frameworks, and data‑modeling best practices. They will also design executive dashboards using BI tools or custom stacks, ensuring data accuracy, auditability, and explainability of AI outputs.

Collaboration is key: the engineer will work closely with CPAs, CFOs, and operations teams to translate financial logic into technical systems, ensuring seamless integration with accounting platforms such as QuickBooks, Xero, and NetSuite. Understanding of financial statements, close processes, and management reporting is a plus, as is any accounting or finance background (CPA/CFA).
