About the Role

As an AI & Automation Engineer – Finance & Ops, you will be at the forefront of transforming how financial services operate in the cloud. Your primary responsibility will be to architect and implement AI‑driven automation pipelines that reduce manual effort, improve accuracy, and accelerate decision‑making for our clients in accounting and finance.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain AI/ML models, including large‑language models (LLMs), to automate financial processes.
• Build end‑to‑end automation workflows using Python, JavaScript, SQL, and orchestration tools such as Airflow or Prefect.
• Integrate with accounting platforms (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and cloud services to ingest, transform, and store financial data.
• Develop interactive dashboards and reports using BI tools (Power BI, Tableau, Looker) to provide real‑time insights to finance teams.
• Collaborate with product, engineering, and finance stakeholders to define requirements, validate solutions, and iterate on product features.
• Document system architecture, data models, and deployment processes to ensure maintainability and compliance.

Required Qualifications

• 3–5 years of experience in AI/ML, automation, and finance domain.
• Proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Hands‑on experience with LLMs, workflow design, orchestration tools, data modeling, and dashboard development.
• Strong documentation and execution skills.
• Fluency in English and French (business level).

Preferred Skills

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and SaaS accounting solutions.
• Knowledge of regulatory compliance in financial services.
• Prior work in a startup or fintech environment.
