GIZ, a semi‑public international development agency, invites an experienced professional to serve as a Climate Energy Advisor in Rabat, Morocco. The successful candidate will spearhead the design and implementation of energy projects that align with global climate goals, ensuring that commercial and industrial clients adopt sustainable, climate‑friendly solutions. Key responsibilities include:

• Strategy Development: Crafting long‑term energy strategies that integrate renewable technologies and align with national and international climate targets.
• Stakeholder Management: Building and maintaining relationships with government bodies, private sector partners, and local communities to secure project buy‑in and facilitate smooth implementation.
• Project Development & Coordination: Leading the full project lifecycle—from feasibility studies and energy audits to technical and economic structuring, investment preparation, and monitoring.
• Capacity Building & Market Access: Designing training programs for local stakeholders, identifying market opportunities, and ensuring knowledge transfer to enhance local capabilities.
• Communication & Knowledge Management: Producing clear reports, managing knowledge repositories, and communicating progress to diverse audiences.

The role requires a Master’s degree (Bac+5) or higher, 5–8 years of relevant experience, and native proficiency in French with fluent English skills.
